Life Story:
She had contact with the gospel since childhood in the capital, where she was secretly taken to an evangelical church, learning there to have a special fondness for worship. When she moved to Quetzaltenango, she heard the same praises and invited her sister to the church, later bringing her mother as well. Some time later, a new church was being established, and they participated as the first members, contributing to the construction of the first Baptist Church in Quetzaltenango, of which they have been active members. She got married in that church, and when the head pastor left the church to serve in another country, her husband was chosen to temporarily replace him, and after several interruptions, he served as the main pastor of the church. She has been married for 56 years and has three children.
